Survival List

Get Free Survival List and tips on makin your own Survival Lists (Click)

Before you make your survival list, find out what is the biggest threat in your location, whether it be

  • Earthquake -- find out where the earthquake hazards are, to see whether your abode is in harm's way.  Here is a link to the United States Gelological Survey's earthquake hazard maps, which include outlands, as well  http://earthquake.usgs.gov/research/hazmaps.

Remember that there can be fault lines deep in Earth, which may not have been yet found.  Therefore keep a "weather eye" to the geological news, to see whether one has been found in your spot.

  • Brush fires -- fire is a threat in any emergency, where damage to buildins may be involved, such as lootin, riots, gangs, tornado, earthquake, flood, invasion, and volcano.

If your climate is dry, and there is much growin of plants, then your neighborhood may have a history of fires.

I suggest that you contact the nearest fire department for their advice.

Some places, where you ought to do more research, are Florida, Arizona, southern California, Australasia, the area around Prince Albert National Park in Canada, to name for you a few.

Here is a map for you, to help you to find threatened spots in the USA   http://landfire.cr.usgs.gov/viewer/viewer.htm.

Be aware of to foresee the way that the wind will go, for the wind carries the fire.
  • Water shortage -- If your water comes from afar, if your spot suffers from drought oft, or if there is a threat of your water supply becomin befouled, then you ought to think about storin big amounts of water.

Here is a good source for you, for 55 gallon PETE plastic drums, which are the supreme material for long term food or water storage  WATER STORAGE BARRELS.

  • Volcano -- If you abide near to a volcano, and there is much ice or snow on it, then there is a danger of 100 mph mud slides, filled with debris, such as trees, cars, and houses.

The solution is simple, actually, if you live near to a volcano.  To save your belongins, keep them all in a pod with 12' thick steel reinforced concrete walls, and excavate through the hardened lava or mud after the doins of the volcano will have come to a full stop.

Keep a helicopter or a harrier in your yard, to make a fast getaway, as the threat approaches.  Simple.

  • Hurricane

  • Tornado

  • Flood

  • Invasion

  • Insurrection by aliens, gangs, or lootin

Bible should be on your list, and guns and weapons, and a team, also.  You must be part of a team, for several reasons.

  • One is specialization.  When you have a team, each member is free to practice a special skill and get really good at it.  A solitary person would have to just about spend full time, to develop all the skills that a team might possess.

  • One is morale.  A well chosen team, one in which no one ever whimpers nor complains, can strenthen your morale, like nobody's business.

  • One is protection.
You are goin to need weapons, to use against anyone who expresses disrespect toward me, toward God, toward any female, or toward Blondes.
